Fashion is armor.
I always wear my Dia, my sapphire earrings my father gave me, my wedding rings, 2 necklaces, perfume, and mascara.
Somedays, my armor is a bikini, and other days it’s a muumuu.
Our pandemic armor seems to be cozy sweatsuits, leggings, slippers, sweaters, and all things soft and gentle. When the world is crazy, cozy feels safe.
I look forward to the day where I can suit up again to face the world. I’ll wear moto boots, and jeans and maybe a scarf. A dress and heels, with a red lip. Jean shorts and a T-shirt.
No matter what I put on, my Dia’s see me through.
